On Wednesday, June 14, at about 18.50, the occupiers shelled the regional center from mortars. As a result, two volunteers were injured, including a foreigner. They helped with the evacuation of the civilian population. This was announced by the Office of the Attorney General.
The shelling damaged civilian infrastructure. Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Priority measures are also being taken to fix the crime committed by the Russian army.
Recall that after the destruction of the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, people are evacuated from dozens of flooded settlements. At the same time, Russia continues shelling the Kherson region. In particular, on June 11, the invaders attacked a boat with civilians who were evacuated across the Dnieper from the Left Bank. As a result of this, three people were killed, another 10 people were injured – eight civilians and two law enforcement officers.
