Israel sold $12.5 billion worth of weapons last year

By 2022, Israel’s revenue from arms exports to other countries will reach $12.5 billion. This was reported by Newsru.co.il in relation to the country’s Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that this is a record for Israel’s annual income from arms exports.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the volume of arms exports from Israel over the past three years has increased by 50%.

About 120 Israeli defense companies signed hundreds of new contracts last year. Of this 12.5 billion, approximately three billion are revenues from arms exports to Arab countries.

About a quarter of arms export contracts to foreign armies are contracts for the supply of attack and reconnaissance drones.

It was previously reported that Israel will transfer 20 PULS multiple launch rocket systems to the Netherlands.
