Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin had a phone conversation. The heads of the departments discussed the situation at the front and exchanged views on the future of Rammstein. On Tuesday, June 13, Reznikov wrote on his Twitter.
In particular, Reznikov noted that he discussed the needs of the Ukrainian military with his American colleague.
Reznikov assessed the conversation with Austin as productive.
“We exchanged views on the eve of the next meeting of the aid contact group in Ukraine in the Ramstein format. We discussed the current situation on the front line and the needs of the Ukrainian army,” said the head of the ministry of Ukrainian defense. .
“Our defense forces are achieving great results on the battlefield. With the help of the United States and other coalition members, they will see it through and continue to develop into one of the strongest armies in the world. Let’s move forward with our common success!” he added.
The United States of America has officially announced the allocation of a new $325 million defense support package to Ukraine.
