This MLRS is precisely a weapon, without which it would be very difficult for Ukraine to reach a turning point in the war. One day of combat operation of the system was shown by military journalists who talked with the crew of the Hymars and went with them to combat work. This is stated in the video published on June 13 on the YouTube channel “Military Television of Ukraine”.
The military notes that as part of security, the video is shown with a long delay.
As you know, the M142 HIMARS are universal launchers of multiple launch rocket systems, firing unguided rockets at a distance of up to 45 km, high-precision missiles M30 and M31 at a distance of up to 70 km and ATACMS ballistic tactical missiles at a distance of up to ATACMS. The cost of HIMARS M270 is 5.1 million dollars.
Recall that the American HIMARS missile systems in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine have proven themselves in the war with the Russian Federation. Dozens of destroyed warehouses, hundreds of pieces of equipment, thousands of invaders – all this is the work of the Hymars.
In particular, these systems powerfully hit the location of military equipment and manpower of the Russian invaders in Bakhmut and destroyed the R-330Zh Zhitel automated jamming station in the Donetsk direction.
