The representative of the FSB, who collected intelligence about the locations of the Defense Forces in the areas of the Dnieper, Kamensky and Novomoskovsk, was detained in the Dnepropetrovsk region. The attacker was supposed to obtain information about military training grounds and training centers where units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trained. This was reported by the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.
The enemy agent tried to establish the approximate number of personnel and military equipment of the defense forces, which are preparing for a possible transfer to the front. He received a “reward” for his work from the Russians on a bank card.
It turned out that a 42-year-old local resident worked for the FSB, who was remotely recruited by the Russian special services two months ago and received the operational pseudonym Geralt. To accomplish the tasks, the traitor independently went to the area and secretly observed the places where the Armed Forces of Ukraine were based. He passed all the intelligence to the aggressor via Telegram.
Evidence of his work was found in a mobile phone and a computer. The investigators informed him of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 (high treason committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The traitor is in custody, he faces life imprisonment.
Recall that a Russian agent was detained in the Dnipropetrovsk region, who was spying on military aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For each completed task, the traitor received from his “curator” with the FSB up to 4 thousand UAH.
