Swiss government websites under attack by Russian hackers

Access to some Swiss government websites was lost. The Russian hacker group NoName claimed responsibility for the cyberattack.

Russian hacker group NoName attacked several Swiss government websites. This was reported on the website of the country’s Federal Council.

It was noted that various Internet pages of the Swiss Federal Administration and businesses related to the country fell under a DDoS attack. The Swiss government website remains unavailable.

The Swiss National Cybersecurity Center (NCSC), together with administrative departments, is analyzing the attack and determining the necessary measures to overcome its consequences.

Recall that Russian hackers stole the data of almost 100 thousand employees of British companies.

It was previously reported that Russian hackers attacked the Prague City Hall website.
