30 “arrivals” in the Sumy region per day: high-rise buildings and power lines were damaged

During the day, 30 explosions were recorded, power lines, two high-rise buildings and four private houses were damaged.

On Sunday, June 12, Russian troops carried out five attacks on three communities in the Sumy region. As a result of enemy strikes, damage to civilian facilities and residential infrastructure was recorded, the Sumy District Police Department reported.

It was noted that 30 explosions were registered on the borders of the region during the day as a result of shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation:

  • The enemy hit the settlement of Velykopisarevskaya with a mortar (eight explosions) and cannon artillery (six explosions).

  • Russian troops opened fire on the settlement of Novoslobodskaya from cannon artillery (nine explosions) and mortars (two explosions).

  • On the territory of the Belopolsky settlement, especially in the city of Belopolye, the troops of the Russian Federation also opened fire from cannon artillery (five explosions). As a result of the enemy’s attack on the village, four private houses, two high-rise buildings, power lines, and six private garages were damaged.

It was earlier reported that enemy UAVs attacked civilian targets in the Sumy region. One hit was recorded in the administrative building, educational institution and industrial area.

It was also reported that Russian troops opened fire on evacuation groups in the Kherson region: three people were killed and ten others were wounded.
