The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that a reconnaissance ship of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation of the Sea of Azov was attacked 300 km from the temporarily occupied Sevastopol.
The Russians claim that on the night of June 11, the ship repelled an attack by six unidentified maritime drones.
The Azov region ship controlled the situation and ensured the safety of the routes of the Turkish and Blue Stream gas pipelines in the southeastern part of the Black Sea, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The Russian Defense Ministry assured that the ship was not damaged. They said the drones were destroyed, allegedly 300 km southeast of occupied Simferopol. None of the Russians were hurt.
The occupiers blame Ukraine for the attack. Meanwhile, official Kyiv did not comment on this.
It will be recalled that on May 24, the Russian reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs was attacked by sea drones 74 kilometers north of the Bosphorus. The ship was destroyed. Russia blamed Ukraine for the attack.
Scout Ivan Khurs all? What happened to the ship?
