Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held regular talks with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The Ukrainian leader wrote about it in Twitter on Saturday, May 28th.
“As part of a regular conversation, I had another phone conversation with Boris Johnson. We talked about strengthening defense support for Ukraine, strengthening work on security guarantees, and fuel supplies to Ukraine, ”Zelensky said.
He added that Ukraine and Britain should together prevent a food crisis and unblock Ukrainian ports.
Earlier the media reported that Johnson had proposed to Zelensky to create an alliance against Russia. Noted that, considering the position of some countries in Europe, this alliance could be an alternative to Ukraine’s accession to the EU.
It was also learned that Britain would transfer arms to Ukraine in the amount of 1.3 billion pounds.
