Putin acknowledged that the Russian Federation lacked modern weapons. At the same time, he announced “an intensive increase in their production.”
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said the Ukrainian Armed Forces had launched a counter-offensive. This was reported by the Russian media.
According to Putin, “it can be said with certainty that this Ukrainian offensive has begun, and this is proven by the use of strategic reserves of the Ukrainian army.”
The dictator noted that the Ukrainian troops allegedly “did not achieve the assigned tasks in any of the combat areas,” however, “the offensive potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has not been exhausted.”
Putin acknowledged that the Russian Federation lacked modern weapons. However, according to him, “industry, the defense industry, the military-industrial complex of the country is developing rapidly.” He announced “an intensive increase in the production of modern types of weapons.”
It will be remembered that yesterday, June 8, the Western media announced the start of Ukraine’s counter-offensive.
As reported, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg noted that in Ukraine the intensity of fighting on the front line has increased, while representatives of the country’s military leadership show restraint in disseminating details about the expected counter-offensive.
