In an interview, Elizabeth Olsen revealed that she doesn’t miss the entire Marvel franchise after 10 years playing Wanda
The actress Elizabeth Olsen, known for bringing Scarlet Witch / Wanda Maximoff to life in the MCU, gave an interview to Variety and revealed that she is not very excited about returning to play the character. The last time when Olsen was in the role last year, in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”.
She revealed during the interview that she does not miss the franchise and commented:
I don’t miss you. I’ve been playing her for 10 years, and I loved doing it. I guess the reason I’m not calling Kevin Feige [chefe do Marvel Studios] every day giving ideas for new films and series with Wanda is that I feel very proud of what I have done so far.”
Olsen he also spoke about the original Disney+ series “WandaVision”, where the character was the protagonist and said what his perspectives are for the future:
WandaVision, in particular, was an amazing opportunity, and if someone were to tell me today that I’m fired from Marvel movies, I would just be proud of what I’ve done. Right now I’m trying to accumulate as many other characters as possible so it’s not all about Marvel for me.”
The series “WandaVision” has 9 episodes and shows Wanda and Visão, played by Paul Bettany, living a perfect suburban life. But they begin to suspect that things are not what they seem. Remember the trailer!
