The United States has announced another $2.1 billion military aid package for Ukraine. The Pentagon announced this on Friday, June 9th.
The new US military aid package includes critical air defenses and munitions provided under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI).
“This announcement marks the beginning of the process of concluding contracts to provide Ukraine with additional priority opportunities,” the statement said.
The assistance package includes:

additional ammunition for the Patriot air defense system;

HAWK air defense system and missiles for them;

105 mm and 203 mm artillery shells;

Puma unmanned aerial system;

ammunition for laser-guided missile systems;
-
support for training, maintenance and support activities.
“The United States will continue to work with its allies and partners to enable Ukraine to meet its immediate battlefield needs and long-term needs for security assistance,” the Pentagon said.
It was previously known that Italy was preparing the seventh package of military aid to Ukraine. Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received weapons worth 1.5 billion euros from this country.
