3,237 people were evacuated from the flooded areas of the Kherson and Nikolaev regions. As of 12:00 on June 9, 48 settlements were flooded in the Kherson region, of which 34 (3,625 houses) were on the territory controlled by Ukraine, 14 on the temporarily occupied.
In the Nikolaev area 23 settlements are flooded.
The Minister drew attention to the fact that in the Kherson District Regional Administration there is a hotline for appeals from the victims, as well as for coordinating the work of volunteers – 0800101102.
“Rakurs” reported that in Kherson there is a tendency to reduce the level of flooding – during the night from June 8 to 9, the water fell by 20 cm.
