At the meetings of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine, defense ministers from around the world discuss assistance to our state in the fight against Russia’s full-scale military aggression.
The next meeting of Defense Ministers of Ukraine’s allies in the Ramstein format, where they will discuss the provision of another package of military aid to our country, will take place on June 15. This will be the 13th meeting of group. This was announced on Thursday, June 8, by Pentagon Speaker Brigadier General Patrick Ryder in a broadcast briefing Twitter of the US Department of Defense.
The representative of the American military department specified that the capital of Belgium, Brussels, will be the place for the next meeting of the allies.
As a reminder, the previous meeting was held on May 25. It was focused on strengthening the defense of Ukraine, in particular, the supply of 155 mm caliber shells, air defense systems, radar and other ammunition.
On the 13th Ramstein, the parties will discuss the creation of a coalition of combat aircraft “Sky Shield of Ukraine”.
Recall, following the results of the last meeting in the Ramstein format, the parties agreed on new military aid packages for Ukraine, as well as on the training of F-16 pilots.
