The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held an “important meeting” with the military command of the Ukrainian army. This was announced on Thursday, June 8, on Telegram.
The President’s meeting was attended by:
Alexander Syrsky – Colonel General, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; commander of the operational-strategic grouping of Khortitsa troops.
Alexander Tarnavsky – brigadier general, commander of the Tavria operational-strategic grouping of troops.
Oleksandr Komarenko – Brigadier General, Head of the Operational Directorate of the Headquarters of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Komarenko, Syrsky, Tarnavsky. An important meeting,” Zelensky wrote.
The Ukrainian leader did not provide details of the meeting.
Recall that now the Western media reported that Ukraine seems to have launched a counter-offensive. And the Russian so-called “military letters” announced tough battles in the Zaporozhye region.
In this regard, the Ministry of Defense announced active hostilities in the east and south.
