The United Nations should immediately form groups in Zaporizhia and Kherson, sent to the affected occupied territories of the Left Bank. These people will provide humanitarian assistance and will evacuate civilians. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
These UN units will go to the affected areas in the temporarily occupied territories as soon as Russia provides access and security guarantees.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, in a conversation with the coordinator of the UN system in Ukraine Denise Brown, assured that Ukraine provides all UN security guarantees for humanitarian operations in the entire affected area.
Recall that on June 8, the troops of the Russian Federation opened fire on the flooded areas of Kherson, where civilians were evacuated. As a result of the shelling, at least three people were injured.
