Ukraine has its own plans for a counter-offensive, and they have not yet been revealed. However, according to Danilov, the wait is not long.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov said that the Russians will not delay the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in any way. He said this on the air of the telethon.
“As for the offensive, it will take place according to our plan. When it is determined at the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. And these actions of theirs (we are talking about destroying the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station by the Russian – ed.) will not interfere with our offensive,” said Danilov.
According to him, Ukraine has its own plans for a counter-offensive, and so far they have not been disclosed.
“Let’s be patient and wait. The wait is not that long,” the NSDC secretary said.
Recall that on June 6, the Russian invaders blew up the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. The destruction caused widespread flooding, as well as a humanitarian and environmental disaster. About 80 communities are under the threat of flooding.
Danilov believes that the invaders blew up the dam in anticipation of a Ukrainian counter-offensive. In addition, before the explosion, they raised the water level at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.
As reported, the former director of the CIA, the American General David Petraeus, said that the Ukrainian counteroffensive will be very powerful, and the Ukrainian Defense Forces during it will “achieve a combined arms effect.”
