The investigative department of the FSB has opened a criminal case against a Russian citizen under the Treason article.
A resident of Russia’s Primorsky Territory was detained allegedly “for espionage in favor of Ukraine’s military intelligence.” This was reported by the Russian propaganda publication TASS on Wednesday, June 7, at the Center for Public Relations (CSP) of Russia’s FSB.
“As a result of operational search activities, it was established that Primorye, acting on the instructions of the Ukrainian military intelligence, collected and sent to its representative information about the objects of law enforcement agencies and the military infrastructure of the region,” FSB representatives said.
The investigative department of the FSB of Russia opened a criminal case under the article treason (275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The suspect is in custody, currently in custody – he faces 12 to 20 years in prison or life in prison.
The FSB said they have video footage showing the suspect making Molotov cocktails.
The video shows a man being detained by FSB special forces, who opened the door of his house. Additionally, the video shows bottles with yellow liquid and fuses inserted into the neck.
