According to a statement issued by the organization Podkarpacka Fraudulent Wieś, the reason for the protest is the continuation of trade liberalization in Ukraine.

The protesters demanded the renewal of the permit system for Ukrainian carriers, as well as a ban on the entry of Belarusian and Russian semi-trailers.
On May 15, the movement of trucks through the Dorogusk-Yagodin checkpoint was resumed as usual.
