The weakening of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station by the Russian invaders will not exclude the possibility of supplying water to the temporarily occupied Crimea.
As a result of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, water supply to temporarily occupied Crimea will be physically impossible in the near future. Alexei Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, said this on the air of the telethon.
“The action taken by Russia will in the near future remove the possibility of supplying water to Crimea from the word. In the next three, five, ten years, until this dam is rebuilt, the water supply to Crimea will simply be physically impossible,” he said.
Recall that on the night of June 6, the Russians blew up the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. As a result, the hydroelectric power plant was completely destroyed by the waves of the Kakhovka reservoir.
About 80 settlements are in the flood zone. There is an evacuation of the population. In total, 16 thousand people are in the critical zone on the right bank of the Dnieper.
Ukrainian intelligence has evidence that the Russians blew up the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. The Defense Ministry noted that the Russian invaders passed through the hydroelectric plant twice before blowing it up.
Russia, as expected, denied the allegations against the Russian military, accusing Ukraine of “deliberate sabotage.”
