In the period from 00.30 to 04.00, the invaders attacked Ukraine with Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles. Six Tu-95ms strategic bombers fired these missiles from the Caspian Sea area. This was reported by the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram.
It is noted that all 35 cruise missiles were destroyed by the forces and means of air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The military emphasized that most of the Russian missiles were directed in the direction of Kyiv – in the zone of responsibility of the Center air command.
Recall that over 250 air targets were shot down over Kiev in May 2023. The KMVA announced the destruction of seven Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, 13 Iskander ballistic missiles, 65 Kh-101, Kh-555, Caliber cruise missiles and 169 UAVs.
