The Russian Defense Ministry proposed to notify mobilized Russians via SMS. This is stated in the draft resolution on the portal of the draft regulatory legal action of the Russian Federation.
In the regulation on the call of citizens for mobilization, in particular, it is proposed to prescribe that the notice of summons from the military registration and enlistment office must be placed in the personal account of the public service portal, in the personal account of the taxpayer, and also send an SMS to the phone number indicated on the public service portal.
The explanatory note to the draft resolution states that these changes will reduce the time for notifying citizens of the mobilization.
