On the night of Sunday, June 4, Russian troops fired rockets at the operational airfield in the Kirovograd region. This was said on the air of the telethon by the spokesman of the command of the Air Force, Yuri Ignat, writes Zerkalo Nedeli.

“Of the six missiles, four were destroyed by the air defense, and two, unfortunately, hit the operational airfield near Kropyvnytskyi. I will not tell you about the consequences,” Ignat said.

The head of the Kirovograd Regional Military District, Andrey Raikovich, reported in the morning about the strike in the region, but did not indicate the place of the hit.

“Another attack by the Russian aggressor. Ukrainian air defense forces held the sky. No casualties or destruction of civilian facilities in the Kirovograd region,” Raikovich wrote.
