On the ball, the remains of which were found near the border of Belarus, there are inscriptions in Cyrillic. Now the balloon is being studied by the military, but it is possible that it is meteorological, and not spy.
Near the Polish city of Kalishki in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in the northeast of the country, the remains of a hot air balloon were found. Its fragments are now being studied by the military to determine the type of object. On Saturday, June 3, the RMF report.
It is known that the remains of the ball were found in a cornfield four kilometers from the village of Byala Peska. According to the publication, a training area and a large military unit are located several kilometers away.
The owner of the farm immediately informed the police about the find, who in turn informed the military. Reports about the discovery of the wolf were confirmed in a publication by Polish law enforcement officials and the Operational Command of the country’s Armed Forces.
As the farmer described the object found in the field, under the balloon’s foil dome was a polystyrene box, an antenna, and there were also Cyrillic inscriptions on the balloon.
Preliminary studies indicate that the balloon may be meteorological, the Operational Command told reporters.
The military added that the radar systems did not record a violation of the Polish airspace, which could also speak in favor of the balloon-type version. However, it is also impossible to completely exclude the version that the bullet could be reconnaissance.
It should be reminded that a few weeks ago it was reported that in Poland they were looking for a wolf that came from Belarus.
And at the end of April, fragments of a military facility were found in a forest near the city of Bydgoszcz in Poland. Later, the country’s authorities reported that it was a warhead from a Russian missile.
