RIA Novosti propagandists told an amazing story with a complex plot. In it, Ukrainian fighters grew locusts from the United States in a hangar, from where the insects came out on foot and attacked the crops of the Lugansk region and Russia.

The Russian authorities showed on video a woman in a military uniform with a hidden face, who allegedly found a “letter” of 2019 in the sanitary station. In it, Ukrainian fighters are asked to “ensure the escort of cargo from the Washington Research University in Missouri to the territory of the Luhansk Regional Fish Processing Plant.”
Further, the woman says that she “looked on the Internet” and found that the laboratory of this university is engaged in breeding combat insects and experiments on locusts in “sapper business”.
The woman assures that in the Luhansk region, ideal conditions for “easy and fast” reproduction of locusts. Then the woman walks around the hangar:
The fact that here, in the hangar, there were locust larvae, is evidenced by a large amount of sawdust with sand – this is a substrate for the development of larvae or for some kind of storage before entering the nutrient medium, she concludes.
The videographer suddenly aims the camera at the “locust wings” that accidentally ended up on the floor. Also, the audience was shown supposedly burned locusts, with which, according to the woman, “something happened under the influence of chemicals.”
The details of the locust expansion are impressive.
Saltpeter was used to make smoke bombs, which created a dense barrier so that locusts would not fly in the wind. Locals say that at first the locusts did not fly. In the direction of that stream (shows with her hand – ed.) I went out on foot. That is, at first it didn’t fly, but when everything started to smoke, it rose [в повітря] and began to fly towards the LC and Russia.
The woman claims that the same size of the locust that flew out in July indicates its unnatural origin. As she herself noted, local environmentalists told her about this. Further, Russian propaganda shows alleged witnesses of the locust attack. Their faces were blurred.
