Armed Forces of Ukraine received ammunition for Leopard tanks from Germany

    The Armed Forces of Ukraine received a new package of military assistance from Germany. It included:

    • ammunition for Leopard tanks;

    • two trucks 8×8 HX81;

    • seven THEMIS tracked and remote-controlled vehicles (designed to transport the wounded and clear traffic routes).

    In addition, Berlin plans to transfer 64 Bandvagn 206 tracked all-terrain vehicles and 66 armored personnel carriers.

    Germany will contribute to security guarantees for Ukraine.

    Now we are making our contribution to support Ukraine. We have always said that there must be guarantees of a peaceful order after the war. Germany will contribute to this. How it will look in specific terms, we must discuss. We have been talking about this for a long time,” said German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, answering the question of providing security guarantees to Ukraine.
