Currently, a large-scale repair campaign is underway in generation facilities and networks for the new heating season.
In Ukraine, the repair of the power unit of one of the nuclear power plants, which is operating at full capacity, has been completed. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy on Thursday, June 1.
The department noted that today’s missile attack by Russian aggressors will not damage energy infrastructure facilities, nor will there be a shortage of electricity. A large-scale campaign to organize the construction of facilities and networks continues until the new heating season.
“The repair of the power unit of one of the nuclear power plants that is already operating at full capacity has been completed. According to the schedule, it has been under repair since March of this year. The generated electricity is sufficient to cover the needs of consumers, ” said the report.
At the same time, terror continues in the front-line and border territories with the Russian Federation. As a result of shelling in the Donetsk region, 11 settlements were de-energized. Some consumers in the regions of Chernihiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kherson remained without electricity. In Kherson, after the evening shelling, 7,000 subscribers were left without electricity.
Due to the initial shutdown, some consumers in the Zaporozhye and Sumy regions remain without electricity. Repair personnel work where the security situation allows.
It is possible to restore the light for 33 thousand consumers per day. Most of them are subscribers in Dnepropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.
The ministry said that commercial electricity imports in the previous day reached 633 MW / h, which is less than 1% of consumption. Electricity is not exported.
During the day, the volume of gas in Ukrainian storage facilities also increased by 27.1 million cubic meters. Blue fuel reserves are more than 9.5 billion cubic meters.
It will be remembered that this week power engineers resumed the supply of electricity to almost 2 million consumers in 12 regions of Ukraine. They were de-energized due to a backbone network emergency.
