The military is restoring the Buk-M1 anti-aircraft systems that hit the Russian Lancet barrage drones.
This is reported by the DeepState channel.
During the Russian-Ukrainian war, the occupying troops began to massively use the tactics of using Zala Lancet loitering drones to destroy important objects in the Ukrainian rear at a depth of up to 40 kilometers. Often the victims of such tactics are critical air reconnaissance systems, radars.
As a result of one of these operations last year, a self-propelled launcher of the Ukrainian Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system, which was covering Ukrainian troops on the front line, was damaged.
A significant part of the launcher design burned out or was damaged. The complex can be considered lost, but the Ukrainian military and DeepState community volunteers joined the repair and they managed to return the combat vehicle to service.
In the video that the guys from the anti-aircraft missile regiment shared with us, you can contemplate the shooting down of the Caliber cruise missile. This is the work of the same Buk with a photo that was restored with the help of our team at the end of last year, the authors of the channel write.
It is noted that the video captures the moment of launch on the Russian “Caliber”, flying through Moldova in February this year in the direction of Chernivtsi.
According to the authors, the equipment was quickly restored due to the timely and prompt provision of the necessary parts and spare parts, as well as assistance in collecting, covering a number of different needs.
