Representatives of these military formations announced the start of the second phase of the operation in Russia. According to the fighters, the fighting is taking place near the settlement of Shebekino.
They add: Russian civilians are being fired upon by Putin’s army.
On the morning of June 1, Russian telegram channels reported that “saboteurs” had attacked the Shebekino border checkpoint and that a battle was going on there.
The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that Shebekino was “under continuous fire” on the night of June 1, but did not comment on the report of the attack.
In turn, the Belgorod operational headquarters, according to the TASS propaganda agency, denied the “breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” in the Shebekino area, announcing that “there are shelling and the sounds of battle are heard.”
