The governor of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that the city of Shebekino “is under constant fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” He wrote about it in Telegram on the morning of June 1.
According to the head of the region, during the night the surroundings and the center of the settlement came under three attacks from Gradov.
“According to preliminary data, there are five victims… There was a direct hit on a private residential building, as a result of which it caught fire. There were also calls about a lot of damage to windows and balconies in private and apartment buildings building, there are houses with walls pierced by shells.
Someone hit the roof of one of the administrative buildings, the roof was on fire … In another administrative building, shell fragments cut the facade and destroyed the windows,” said Gladkov.
Earlier, he said that Russian troops needed to capture Kharkov to stop shelling in the Belgorod region.
