The official answered in this way the question about the information about the border crossing of the representative of the Kyiv City Council accused of bribery from the party public servant Vladislav Trubitsyn.
According to him, the State Border Guard Service, when passing citizens, operates within the standards of the current law on border crossing regulations.
“It is forbidden to disclose information about third parties about their border crossing. I note that the entry of people is carried out on the basis of valid passport documents, grounds for entry and the absence of related restrictions to persons who may be imposed by an authorized state body. With regard to persons who are involved in criminal proceedings, then during the investigation or court proceedings, at the request of the investigators, a person may restrict crossing the border of Ukraine. If such decisions are made and received by the State Border Guard Service, the border guards follow them. Also, within the framework of criminal proceedings, information on crossing the border of people can be obtained and, if they think it is possible, the investigators will make it public,” Demchenko explained.
