A fighter of the MTR naval center said that they were tasked with landing on one of the islands in the Kherson region, conducting a sweep there and taking up positions. Being on the island, the defenders noticed the movement of a Russian boat with a group of occupiers. The operators of the battle group instantly opened heavy fire on the enemy. The soldiers destroyed the Russian commander and the boatman who was driving the boat. After that, the MTR fighters withdrew, because subsequently Russian artillery began to work on the island.
When the situation stabilized, the Ukrainian soldiers went to the enemy boat to completely destroy it.
