According to Schemes’ sources with access to border crossing data, Trubitsyn left Ukraine around 19:00 on May 13 in the direction of Poland through the Rava-Russkaya checkpoint in his own Mercedes S 600 car.
The journalists turned to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine for a comment and are awaiting a response.
As of 10:00 am on May 30, Trubitsyn had not returned from abroad. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office filed a petition to put the deputy on the international wanted list and demand the collection of bail in the amount of UAH 9 million 886 thousand in bail to the state, as well as the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention.
Trubitsyn’s lawyers said during the trial that they were breaking off the agreement with him. The next meeting was scheduled for June 5th.
The deputy himself, in his Facebook post back in February 2022, reported that “he never received any bribes from anyone and, moreover, did not delay taking bribes.” He added that he considers this case political.
Recall that 40-year-old Vladislav Trubitsyn is a deputy of the Kyiv City Council of the IX convocation from the Servant of the People party, the head of the Kiev City Council Commission on Entrepreneurship, Industry and Urban Improvement. After the suspicion, Trubitsyn only suspended his membership in the party, but at the same time remained the head of the standing commission.
