A Kremlin spokesman in the West called for the removal of sanctions that allegedly block the export of grain from Ukraine.
The Kremlin dismissed the US and European Union’s claim that Russia had blocked grain exports from Ukraine and accused the West of creating this situation by imposing sanctions. Reuters writes about it.
“We categorically deny these accusations. On the contrary, we blame Western countries for the actions that led to it,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a conference call with journalists on May 26.
He called on the West to remove sanctions that allegedly hinder grain exports from Ukraine.
Recall that due to blocked ports, Ukraine loses 170 million dollars every day, and 90 million tons of agricultural products are inland.
It was also reported that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called on the world to help create a corridor for grain exports.
