Just as only military men have the right to wear military uniforms, so only scientists should have scientific degrees, believes Oksen Lisovyi.

“In the academic world, a scientific degree is about value and trust, and also about seeking, not receiving. Just as only the military has the right to wear military uniforms, I think only scientists who should have scientific degrees … In myself, in fact, I was the first to try the rejection mechanism. I wrote the corresponding application and from yesterday I am no longer a candidate of science. more important,” wrote the minister on his Facebook page.

Recall that the Minister of Education Oksen Lisovoy, who was appointed to the position on March 21, was accused of plagiarizing his dissertation Sociocultural Self-Identification of a Personality, which he defended in 2012.

After that, he submitted his dissertation to the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education for plagiarism and said that if any violations were found, he would be denied the PhD degree.
