Law enforcement learned the woman lost control of the car, drove onto the sidewalk and knocked down a police officer.
A drunken resident of Yavoriv,Lviv region, knocked a 25-year-old female police officer onto the sidewalk. This was announced by the communications department of the Lviv regional police on Monday, May 29.
According to law enforcement officers, the traffic accident occurred on May 29 around 15:20.
According to them, the 34-year-old woman lost control, drove onto the sidewalk and knocked down a police officer.
“According to preliminary information from doctors, the driver of the car at the time of the accident was in a state of intoxication,” the police said.
The victim was injured and taken to the hospital.
Investigators opened criminal proceedings under the article Violation of traffic safety rules or transport operation by persons driving vehicles while intoxicated (part 1 of article 286-1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

When the judge’s car was searched, a bottle of alcohol was found, but the judge refused to test for intoxication.
