The Russian invaders on Monday afternoon, May 29, once again attacked the capital of Ukraine.
In Kyiv, at 11.45 Monday, there were reports of the discovery of six rocket fragments. The wreckage fell in the Obolonsky district near the gas station, over the road with fire and green zone.
In the Desnyansky district, debris fell on the territory of one of the parks, and in Dneprovsky – on the surface of the road in different places.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky assured that Ukraine, with its successes and the Patriot air defense system, will respond to Russia for all its manifestations of evil and will be able to destroy it.
Shelling in the Dnepropetrovsk region: there are dead and injured
The troops of the Russian Federation opened fire in the Pokrovskaya settlement of the Sinelnikovsky district, there was one person killed. Nine people were also injured, including an 11-year-old child.
According to him, due to the impact, a private house was destroyed. A fire broke out, which was extinguished by rescuers.
Zelensky made a bet: the main issues were named
Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a regular meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. According to him, three issues were discussed at the headquarters.
The first is the front; the second is the recruitment of new offensive brigades and the provision of rapid logistics; third – new contracts for the supply of additional missiles, additional air defense systems, an analysis of the work of air defense in recent days, an assessment of the damage caused.
New units of Russian troops entered Bakhmut
The spokesman of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergei Cherevaty, said that units of the Russian Airborne Forces and motorized rifle units are entering Bakhmut in the Donetsk region to replace the Wagnerians.
According to him, all these units are understaffed with mobilized soldiers.
Borrell said when the Russian Federation could negotiate
The Vice-President of the European Commission, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that Russia will only be ready for negotiations if it wins the war against Ukraine.
Poland closed the border for trucks from Russia and Belarus from June 1
From June 1, Poland introduced a ban on the entry from the territory of trucks registered in Belarus and Russia.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland explained that the ban on the movement of trucks from the Russian Federation and Belarus was necessary for reasons of public safety.
Volunteers said they re-entered Russia
Representatives of the Russian Volunteer Corps said they crossed the Russian state border again. The RDC added that the purpose of the border crossing will be known in the near future.
