The SBU detained a Russian GRU informant – an enemy agent spied on the Defense Forces in the Donetsk region. This was reported by the press service of the SBU.
“He collected intelligence for the invaders about the locations and movement routes of the Defense Forces in the areas of Slavyansk, Liman and Nikolaevka. He paid special attention to the movement routes of the Ukrainian military columns crossing in the city of Seversky Donets in the direction of Bakhmut. The attacker also sent the aggressor the coordinates of local factories and railway infrastructure. The invaders needed intelligence information to prepare air strikes on Ukrainian targets , including the use of drones,” the report said.
It was reported that the enemy agent was a resident of occupied Liman. The man was recruited remotely by Russian military intelligence.
