The head of state indirectly confirmed the use of the Petriot air defense system to protect the sky over the capital during the attack on the afternoon of May 29.
When the “Petriots” in the hands of the Ukrainians provide 100% shooting down of Russian missiles, terror will lose. No one else in the world uses weapons against evil more effectively than Ukrainians,” Zelensky said in an evening address.
Recall that on May 29 there were several Russian terrorist attacks per day. Shaheds, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles.
Guided bombs. Thanks to our air defense, all the defenders and defenders of the sky, today we managed to save at least hundreds of lives. Just for one day. Most of the “Shaheds” and missiles were shot down. But each such terrorist attack brings us and the whole world back to the obvious conclusion: Russia wants to follow the path of evil to the end, that is, to its defeat, because evil does not and cannot have any other end than defeat,” Zelensky said.
The President believes that there is no greater humiliation for a terrorist state than the success of our soldiers.
Actually, with our successes, our pressure, our “Petriots” we have and will continue to respond to Russia for all manifestations of its evil. And we will destroy this evil,” Zelensky said.
The President also informed about the conversations with the leaders of Turkey, Cambodia, the Netherlands, as well as about the results of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander.
