The document allows elections to be held both in the entire territory where martial law was introduced, and only in its part.
Earlier, Putin signed a decree providing for the deportation of Ukrainian citizens from occupied Ukrainian territories if they do not accept Russian citizenship.
To recall, Ukraine is investigating Belarus’ possible role in the forced deportation of children from Russian-occupied territories.
