This is stated in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for May 28.
In Lisichansk, Luhansk region, about 80 people from the Storm-Z unit of the Russian occupation forces deserted. They arbitrarily left their fighting positions. Also, in the Bakhmut area, about 30 people from the Wagner PPK deserted, who also left their combat positions without permission, having stolen military equipment, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicated.
In addition, in the Nizhneserogozsky district of the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, forced passportization of Ukrainian citizens continues. In particular, the Russian invaders constantly put pressure on local residents, threatening deportation and confiscation of property.
Citizens with a Ukrainian passport, driver’s license and technical passport for a vehicle are threatened with confiscation if they refuse to receive Russian-style documents, the report says.
Recall that recently in the Russian army there are more and more cases of disobedience to the military leadership, in connection with this, the invaders resort to desertion and surrender.
