Of the total number of Storm Shadow launches that have already taken place, all 100% are accurate hits on targets determined by the General Staff. 100 to 100. Absolutely effective, – said the head of the Ministry of Defense.
Reznikov added that during a meeting with British colleague Ben Wallace last week, he introduced him to two Ukrainian pilots who used Storm Shadow missiles. The pilots gave Wallace a red ribbon that secures the rocket before launch as a souvenir.
Recall that on May 11, Wallace confirmed the transfer of Britain’s Storm Shadow cruise missiles to Ukraine. These air-to-ground missiles were developed by the UK in cooperation with France. The Ukrainian Air Force uses front-line reconnaissance aircraft Su-24MR to launch missiles. The missile belongs to relatively new air-to-ground cruise missiles. Its range reaches more than 250 km.
