Russian special services began to implement a provocation with chemical weapons in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye region, thus trying to disrupt the Ukrainian counteroffensive.

    .

This was announced today, May 27, by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The real victims of the enemy provocation will be the soldiers of the Russian occupying army. The aggressor state plans to use traces of chemical weapons on their bodies as fake evidence to accuse Ukraine, the GUR notes.

We note that the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, when fighting with Russian troops, use only conventional means, and the regular performances of the Muscovite special services are not able to influence the further course of events at the front, the GUR adds.

Recall, according to Ukrainian intelligence, rashists can also arrange a provocation, simulating an accident at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
