During the fighting, Ukrainian forces destroyed two tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, an armored personnel carrier, as well as more than 30 invaders in a day.
The GNSU said that the assault on our positions by enemy infantry was preceded by a massive artillery attack using chemical grenades dropped from drones. Geolocation footage released on May 22 shows that the occupiers made little progress towards Poligraficheskaya Street in Marinka. Ukrainian troops are said to be holding positions south of Avdiivka near Poprosne.
On May 26, the invaders fired at Avdiivka. The airstrike destroyed a residential building. There are no casualties.
