A resident of the Vinnitsa region was sentenced to 13 years in prison for raping his 4-year-old niece. This was reported by the press service of the Vinnitsa Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
“The juvenile prosecutor testified in court that in October 2022, a man in a state of alcohol intoxication was at his cousin’s house. He stayed overnight in the room where the children were sleeping. His actions of a sexual nature, ” the statement said.
In court, the man did not admit his guilt and tried to make sure that he was drunk and did not remember what happened that day. But the court found the rapist guilty, he was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
The sentence has not yet entered into force, the accused is in custody.
It can be recalled that the 31-year-old rapist has been repeatedly prosecuted for property crimes. In September of last year, he resigned from prison, where he was serving a sentence for theft, and at the end of October he was detained for raping his niece.
It was previously reported that in the Odessa region, an uncle raped his niece for six months. The man once persuaded the boy to have sex with him, and then did so regularly, promising to give him a phone, pay for entertainment, and generally fulfill any whim.
