The Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, commented on the decision of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine to switch to the New Julian church calendar, calling it “orgy and madness.” On Wednesday, May 24, he made a corresponding comment on the Rossiya TV channel.
“In Russian, it’s an orgy, it’s madness, unfortunately,” Peskov said.
The press secretary also added that now, in his opinion, it remains to wait for Ukraine to “announce that there is no longer a Ukrainian language, but an American language.”
