“Now, as such strikes continue (on Shahed drones – ed.), I want to appeal directly to the people of Iran. To everyone – to society, to the Iranian ulema, to every Iranian family, to those that person. able to influence the decisions of the government in Iran. A simple question: why do you have to be an accomplice of Russian terrorism? Why are you on the side of a bad state? The world sees what is happening, and you see everything in Iran. Support for evil cannot be denied,” Zelensky said.
According to the President, a total of 1,160 Shaheds were used against Ukraine. Most shot at the air defense forces, but there were also hits.
