Russian aviation once again attacked the Sumy region. On Wednesday, May 24, an enemy plane dropped a guided aerial bomb on the territory of a kindergarten in the Yunakovskaya community. The details of the explosion are being investigated. The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.
Today, the enemy carried out an airstrike on the territory of the Velikopisarevskaya community – one rocket explosion. Preliminary without human losses and destruction of civilian infrastructure, the report says.
Operational command “North” reported on Facebook that as of 14:00, Russian troops fired four times at the border areas of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
The areas of Yanzhulovka and Bunyakino were fired from 120 mm caliber mortars. And from the cannon artillery, the enemy drove through the areas of Khrenovka and Khotiyevka. Information about losses among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure is being specified.
Recall that on May 21, the Russians fired artillery and attacked peaceful cities and villages of the Donetsk region with FAB-250 high-explosive bombs. Russian ammunition hit the house, killing two men aged 46 and 55. Six more local residents – two men and four women were injured.
