The Russian Volunteer Corps denied the Russian Ministry of Defense’s statement and officially said it suffered no losses.
The Russian Volunteer Corps suffered no casualties. This was announced in formation on the evening of Tuesday, May 23.
“We do not know which columns of equipment Mr. Konashenkov destroyed in his reports (ed. – the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation), but the Russian Volunteer Corps had no losses,” the message said.
Regarding the photos distributed by propagandists on social networks, showing the dead “saboteurs”, the Corps said: “Our fighters wear multicams, not pixels. This is a note.”
Let’s recall that earlier the authorities of the Belgorod region announced the abolition of “the regime of counter-terrorist operations that continued since yesterday.”
The CTO regime was announced after the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Legion of Freedom of Russia launched an operation to liberate Russia from the regime of Vladimir Putin.
Ukrainian intelligence said a “safety zone” was created on Russian territory to protect Ukrainians.
