The boy slipped on the slabs of the water intake of the former pumping station in the village of Dmitrovka and fell into the water.
In the Nikolaev region, a child fell into the water and drowned. It was reported on May 23 to the State Emergency Service.
It was noted that the incident took place in the village of Dmitrovka, Voznesensky district, on the Southern Bug River.
“A girl born in 2008 slipped on the reinforced concrete slabs of the water intake installed at the former pumping station, fell into the water and disappeared. Rescuers in an inflatable boat searched the reservoir. The body of the child was found in a distance of 5- 6 meters from the shore at a depth of about two meters,” – specified the department.
